The KIM MOB Throwing Strop is a versatile combination of throwing line and lifting strop that offers a substantial improvement in performance on more traditional versions of this highly important piece of man overboard recovery equipment.

The device is designed using a unique combination of lifting strop and throwing line that allows rescuers to both establish contact with the victim and to recover them from the water without the need for additional equipment.

To reach a man overboard, thirty meters of floating, high strength line are cleverly packed within a compact, high visibility bag with the instructions for use printed clearly on the external material. The inboard end features a wrist loop that frees up the throwing hand, while the velcro holding the externally mounted recovery strop in place against the sides of the line bag helps form a compact, streamlined package enabling a throw of maximum range and accuracy. At the far end of the line sits the recovery strop, generously built to facilitate slipping over the head and with in-built padding to reduce the chance of injury or discomfort during retrieval.

Repacking the line after deployment is simple and fast with the compact bag providing ample space for the line while the wrist loop and strop return easily to their storage positions.
